Plans for ANZBL Season 3 is well underway with the draft done and dusted. During a live stream on 31st March presenters announced the player selections for the upcoming season of ANZBL, as well as the reveal of a new team.
Joining the Cairns Comets, Hawthorn Hellcats, Canberra Centurions and Wollongong Wolverines are former ANZPL team Auckland Archers and new team Bundaberg Badgers.
With this expansion to six teams ANZBL Season 3 will now allow for promotion and relegation with the ANZPL. The top team of the ANZBL and the bottom team in the ANZBL will compete in a playoff match to decide which team goes up and which team goes down.
As well as the $1,000 first place prize, in game gold and physical prizes thanks to Hyper X, viewers will be able to earn drops and win prizes as well. There’s also the ANZBL Season 3 Fantasy League for viewers to enjoy.
